Job Description
Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Advisor to champion safety initiatives across construction sites and operational environments. In this vital role, you will lead efforts to ensure compliance with safety regulations, promote a culture of safety awareness, and mitigate risks associated with construction activities. Your expertise will help foster a secure workplace where safety standards are not only met but exceeded, empowering teams to work confidently and efficiently. Duties Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards on construction sites and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively. Implement and oversee occupational health programs that promote worker well-being and prevent work-related injuries. Ensure adherence to MSHA standards, Workers' Compensation policies, and other relevant regulations. Develop, update, and communicate safety policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to construction management projects. Perform regular safety inspections, audits, and site visits to monitor compliance with EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) standards and construction management software protocols. Lead incident investigations, document findings thoroughly, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and workers to foster a culture of safety consciousness across all operations. Skills Strong knowledge of risk management principles within construction environments. Expertise in occupational health practices and OSHA compliance requirements. Familiarity with NEC standards related to electrical safety in construction projects. Experience managing workers' compensation claims and understanding related legal frameworks. Proficiency in construction management software for tracking safety metrics and reporting. Demonstrated ability in construction site experience with a focus on compliance management.
