Order EHS supplies, PPE supplies and manage the PPE vending program. Actively seek and propose new methods or technologies to enhance workplace safety and efficiency. Aid in the development of the waste management program to improve waste reduction and improve sustainability initiatives. Work with production and management to foster a safety culture and address concerns.
Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, safety, or a relevant field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of experience in EHS within a manufacturing/construction environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations. Understanding of ergonomics and methods to prevent musculoskeletal disorders injuries. Experience in facilitating in-house training programs. Experience conducting accident and incident investigations.
