Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Safety Technician with a valid OSHA 30 certification/CPR Certification to support our safety program and ensure compliance across all site operations in our Steel Division. The ideal candidate will assist with daily safety inspections, documentation, training support, and enforcement of company and regulatory safety standards. Crane and rigging background experience a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits Identify hazards, document findings, and assist in implementing corrective actions Support safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and safety reports Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies Assist in incident investigations and follow-up procedures Promote a positive safety culture throughout the job site
Requirements:
OSHA 30 certification required Prior experience in safety, construction, or industrial environments preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to identify hazards and recommend solutions Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work in fast-paced environments Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
