Position SummaryBGI is seeking an EHS Bilingual Trainer to develop, deliver, and maintain environmental health and safety training programs, with a strong emphasis on construction safety. This role is ideal for someone confident presenting to groups, enjoys coaching and engagement, and can adapt training to meet client needs while supporting strong regulatory compliance and safety performance.
The EHS Bilingual Trainer will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including executives, engineers, construction managers, and field employees. The right candidate will be professional, organized, and comfortable leading multiple sessions per day in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver EHS training programs, including construction safety orientation and regulatory compliance trainingCreate, update, and maintain training materials, presentations, and documentationLead professional orientation sessions using PowerPoint and Microsoft Office toolsProvide regulatory and proprietary training for large industrial construction sitesCustomize training content to meet client-specific requirementsWork directly with field teams and project management to reinforce safe practicesSupport site visits by monitoring and reinforcing compliance with safety proceduresMaintain accurate training records and provide progress reports as neededCommunicate clearly through written reports, verbal presentations, and public speakingReport unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents promptly to managementParticipate in safety briefings and support a culture of continuous improvementPerform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction, Communication, or a related field (24-year degree minimum)23 years of documented EHS experience, preferably supporting large construction projectsExperience delivering construction safety training and orientationsOSHA 30 required (OSHA 510 and
OSHA 500
preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and strong presentation skillsAbility to deliver training effectively to large, diverse audiencesStrong understanding of regulatory training requirements and best practicesExcellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple sessions per dayStrong written and verbal communication skills, including public speakingAbility to work independently and collaborativelyAbility to stand for extended periods and present multiple sessions per dayBilingual (English/Spanish) requiredPreferred QualificationsOSHA 510 and
