Safety Professional Location:
North Phoenix, AZ Start Date:
ASAP Schedule:
Approximately 50 hours per week with opportunities for additional overtime
Pay:
$36•40 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Professional to support commercial and industrial construction projects in the North Phoenix area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction safety practices, electrical safety requirements, and OSHA compliance.
Responsibilities:
Conduct jobsite safety inspections and audits Identify hazards and implement corrective actions Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and new hire orientations Monitor subcontractor and employee safety performance Assist with incident investigations and corrective action plans Maintain safety documentation and reports Promote a strong safety culture on the jobsite
Requirements:
OSHA 30 Certification (Required)
NFPA 70E
Certification or Training (Required) Construction safety experience in commercial, industrial, or mission-critical environments Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work effectively with field personnel, supervisors, and project management Knowledge of electrical safety practices preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience on data center, semiconductor, manufacturing, or large commercial projects Additional safety certifications such as OSHA 500/510, CHST, or equivalent are a plus
