Why This Role Green Dot Labs is seeking a dependable and proactive Sanitation Associate to support the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our Boulder facilities. This role plays an essential part in maintaining production readiness by ensuring workspaces, common areas, and licensed cannabis production environments consistently meet company cleanliness and sanitation standards. Working closely with Operations and Production teams, this position supports daily cleaning, sanitation, facility upkeep, supply management, and basic maintenance activities. The Sanitation Associate helps create a safe, organized, and efficient environment that supports product quality, compliance, and operational excellence. What You'll Do Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of production areas, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, warehouses, and common spaces Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect facility surfaces to maintain company cleanliness standards Empty trash receptacles and maintain waste collection areas Clean windows, mirrors, glass surfaces, and other facility fixtures Perform deep cleaning projects as assigned Support groundskeeping, exterior upkeep, and snow removal activities as needed Identify areas requiring cleaning and proactively address facility needs Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and consumables Monitor stock levels of cleaning products and report replenishment needs Report facility maintenance and repair concerns to leadership Maintain cleaning-related compliance documentation and records Support environmental system monitoring and assist with basic troubleshooting when needed Assist with installation and repair of facility fixtures and equipment Ensure Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are maintained and properly filed when new cleaning products are introduced Follow all company safety procedures, SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements What's In It for You Direct impact on facility cleanliness, employee safety, and operational success Stable, hands-on role supporting multiple departments across the organization Collaborative team environment focused on quality and continuous improvement Opportunities to expand facility operations and maintenance knowledge What Makes You a Great Fit High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must have and maintain an active FA Card, or be eligible and willing to obtain one prior to employment. Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation required Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment Basic understanding of facility systems, maintenance, or environmental controls is a plus Dependable, self-motivated, and proactive in identifying and addressing facility needs Work Environment This role is primarily onsite in Tempe, AZ and requires work throughout production, warehouse, office, and common-area environments. The position typically follows a standard 40-hour workweek and may require overtime, holiday work, or schedule flexibility based on facility needs. The role requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Employees may work around cleaning chemicals, cannabis production areas, warehouse environments, and facility equipment. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required by company procedures and safety standards. Benefits & Total Rewards We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, an HSA option for eligible plans, company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. Benefits for most employees become effective the first day of the month following 60 days of employment. Eligible employees may participate in the 401(k) plan after 90 days of employment, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
