Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Management Representative to oversee the rehabilitation of the primary park water system at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. This project involves replacing asbestos-cement (AC) water lines, drilling a new supply well, replacing a 100,000-gallon steel water storage tank, and installing a SCADA system. Key Responsibilities Monitor construction for progress, workmanship, and strict adherence to contract documents and safety standards. Draft contract correspondence, review submittals, process Requests for Information (RFIs), and verify certified payrolls. Prepare independent Government Cost Estimates for modifications and perform baseline/progress schedule reviews using Primavera or MS Project. Maintain daily logs, take progress photographs, and facilitate weekly meetings. Ensure compliance with Accident Prevention Plans Required Qualifications Proven background in public utility/water systems, earthwork, trenching, and asbestos cement pipe abatement . OSHA 30-hour construction safety training. Skilled in Microsoft Office, Primavera, and SharePoint for document control. Prior experience with National Park Service (NPS) construction is highly preferred
