Job Description
Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Fire Sprinkler Technician / Inspector , where you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and compliance of fire suppression systems across commercial, industrial, and construction sites. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to work with advanced fire sprinkler technology, perform detailed inspections, and help protect lives and property. We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to grow their skills within the fire protection industry. Duties & Responsibilities Perform scheduled inspections and testing of wet, dry, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems, including sprinkler heads, gauges, valves, and fire pumps Identify system deficiencies such as leaks, corrosion, impairments, and low pressure issues that may affect system performance Conduct minor maintenance and repairs, including replacing sprinkler heads, gauges, valves, and piping components Generate accurate inspection reports and documentation for clients and fire authorities using digital reporting systems Ensure all fire protection systems remain compliant with NFPA 25 standards and local fire code requirements Communicate inspection findings and recommended corrective actions professionally with customers and team members Qualifications NICET Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems Level I or II preferred State certifications/licenses preferred, including California Sprinkler Fitter Certification and Cal Fire Card 2-5 years of experience in fire protection, inspections, construction, or a related field Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift approximately 30-50 lbs Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Why Join Us?
