Are you a Sanitation professional passionate about people, standards, and purpose? Join our team as a Sanitation Manager and play a vital role in ensuring that every meal we serve is not only nourishing but also safe and compliant with the highest hygiene standards. The Sanitation Manager plans, directs, and coordinates sanitation programs throughout manufacturing facility. Ensuring compliance with company's food safety required standards, to ensure product safety, quality and legality including but not limited to HACCP , GMP's, GFSI and OSHA . Analyzes work environments to accurately implement sanitation programs and procedures. Responsibilities will include verification, review and development of effective cleaning SOP's along with maintaining and reporting department key indicators.
What You'll Do:
  • Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, personal safety, good manufacturing processes, appropriate state and/or federal regulations and appropriate industry defined standards.
  • Directs the sanitation programs as established by corporate policy.
  • Ensure pre-op. and in-process safety and quality of the product. Schedule correction with follow-up.
  • Must be able to work independently without close supervision.
  • Completing daily employees task schedules ensuring appropriate coverage for all the shifts.
  • Oversee the company initiatives related to food safety and hygiene.
  • Develop and/or maintain hygiene programs and procedures.
  • Lead a team of sanitation staff on multiple shifts to support the plant goals in sanitation.
  • Create sanitation staff goals and objectives, to ensure high quality cleaning is achieved efficiently.
  • Create and monitor master sanitation schedule, SSOP's (cleaning procedures).
  • Verify all documentation is being kept per requirements.
  • Ensure established equipment and areas are cleaned according to cleaning procedures.
  • Ensure the proper use of sanitation chemicals in various applications.
  • Develop and conduct training for all active and new hires on SSOP's and chemical procedures.
  • Keep inventory of sanitation supplies and order supplies as necessary.
  • Coordinate training of sanitation staff on required company policies, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
  • Develop and provide all training to facility to ensure compliance with Sanitation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP , Allergen Control Programs, and Safety Programs (
EI:
PPE , Safety Glasses, LOTO …)
  • Review resource loads and submit request for recruitments to ensure proper staffing.
The manager will also be responsible for hiring, scheduling, performance reviews on all employees.

Salary starting at $75,000 based on experience. Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
:
Education :
+ Bachelor's degree required
Other Qualifications, Experience:
+ 5 years' experience in Fa cilities Management required . + Working knowledge of building maintenance and facility upkeep.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB

Lifting while turning side to side is sometimes necessary. + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Position sometimes requires extended hours including evenings and/or weekends, travel to multiple work sites and occasional out-of-state travel .
WORK ENVIRONMENT
: + The work is performed primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, specifically the packing and warehousing areas + Standing most of the workday is required . + Work requires movement in and out of storerooms , near heavy machinery and freezers + Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment. + The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. + Willing to work on occasional weekends + Broad understanding of major functions within the plant and the ability to work directly with individuals at all levels and functions.
