I, II, III & IV
roles are responsible for supporting sanitation operations by ensuring proper cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing equipment, tools, and production areas. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, sanitary, and compliant environment in accordance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment, tools, utensils, racks, and production areas.
  • Follow sanitation procedures and specifications in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and staged for production use.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and tools.
  • Follow Food Safety standards, GMPs, and company sanitation policies.
  • Handle and use chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and PPE requirements.
  • Perform tasks assigned under the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Prevent cross-contamination by properly cleaning and organizing equipment and utensils.
  • Dispose of waste according to safety, food safety, and operational standards.
  • Support compliance with FDA, USDA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or sanitation problems to management.
  • Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety trainings.
  • Report injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment or lifting devices when trained and certified.
  • Maintain punctuality and adherence to attendance policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and support different production areas as needed.
Qualifications Minimum 2 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment At least 2 years of leadership experience Experience with GMPs, SOPs, and sanitation documentation Ability to work weekends and flexible weekdays Strong communication and organizational skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred High School diploma required; technical training or college coursework preferred Ability to work under stressful conditions and in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30lbs frequently and occasionally up to 50lbs Regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching Exposure to wet/humid conditions, mechanical parts, and chemicals Work in varying temperatures (sub-0° to 85°) Benefits 401(k) with company matching Health, dental, and vision insurance Long term disability, Life insurance
