High School Diploma or Equivalent About the Opportunity We are seeking an Industrial Hygienist to join a growing environmental and building science consulting team serving commercial, institutional, industrial, healthcare, and public-sector clients throughout California. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of industrial hygiene, indoor environmental quality, hazardous materials, and occupational exposure projects while developing technical expertise alongside experienced industry professionals. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of consulting experience in industrial hygiene and building sciences, with a strong background in asbestos, lead, and mold investigations. Individuals with additional exposure monitoring experience involving silica dust, metals, fumes, indoor air quality (IAQ), and other workplace health hazards are desirable. Key Responsibilities Conduct industrial hygiene and building science investigations in commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, and public-sector environments. Perform asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor environmental quality assessments. Collect environmental and occupational exposure samples, including air, dust, bulk, and surface samples. Conduct workplace exposure assessments for silica, metals, welding fumes, particulate matter, and other occupational hazards. Interpret laboratory data and field findings to develop practical recommendations and corrective actions. Prepare clear, concise, and technically sound reports for clients and regulatory agencies. Support remediation, abatement, and corrective action projects through oversight, monitoring, and clearance activities. Interface directly with clients, contractors, facility managers, and regulatory stakeholders. Maintain compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, Cal/OSHA, and state regulations. Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development initiatives. Qualifications Required Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial hygiene and/or building science consulting. Experience conducting asbestos, lead, and mold investigations. Knowledge of industrial hygiene sampling and field investigation methodologies. Strong technical report writing and communication skills. Valid driver's license and ability to perform fieldwork throughout California. High school diploma or equivalent.
