No Experience needed: Occupational health experience Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a temporary occupational health coverage assignment in Irvine, CA. This role will support an onsite occupational health setting and is best suited for a provider with prior experience in employee health, occupational medicine, workplace injury care, return-to-work support and documentation. The assignment runs for 14 weeks and offers a consistent Monday-Friday day schedule with a 40-hour weekly guarantee. Responsibilities The Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant may support: Evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses Occupational health assessments and employee health visits Return-to-work and modified-duty recommendations Workplace incident follow-up First aid and urgent employee health concerns Coordination with safety, HR, workers' compensation and site leadership Documentation of clinical findings, restrictions and follow-up plans Support for occupational health compliance activities as assigned Employee education related to workplace health and safety Requirements Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license Prior occupational health / occupational medicine experience Experience with workplace injury evaluation and return-to-work processes Ability to work independently in an onsite occupational health environment Strong documentation and communication skills Comfortable partnering with HR, safety,and operational teams BLS or CPR certification preferred; required if client policy confirms Experience in manufacturing, industrial, corporate health or employee health strongly preferred #nashville
