In this vital role, you will support safety initiatives across operations, ensuring adherence to company safety standards and regulations. Your dedication will contribute to a culture of safety, empowering teams to operate efficiently while minimizing risks. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in safety protocols and compliance laws, making a tangible difference every day. Responsibilities Assist in implementing safety policies and procedures aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits within job operations to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Support emergency preparedness efforts by maintaining first aid supplies, coordinating CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training, and assisting with incident response procedures. Help document safety incidents, prepare detailed report writing, and perform root cause analysis to support continuous improvement efforts. Facilitate safety training and development sessions for employees on topics such as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), first aid, and our company's IIPP (Injury and Illness Prevention Program). Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and assist in maintaining accurate records for incident reports. Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety awareness across all levels of the organization. Skills Strong knowledge of OSHA standards Certified in first aid and CPR Excellent report writing skills with the ability to analyze root causes of incidents effectively. Proven ability to conduct safety training & development sessions that engage employees and promote best practices. Ability to perform thorough safety inspections, root cause analysis, and follow-up on corrective actions. Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
