This position contributes to the success of Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA) by ensuring regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, and DOT), accident prevention and after injury management. This person will work to support implementation of the EHS Management System at the Indianapolis, IN Gatorade manufacturing location. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in employee safety and environmental regulations as well as have OSHA, EPA, and DOT compliance experience and be highly skilled at implementing processes that will lead to sustained EHS performance improvements.
Responsibilities:
This person is responsible for deploying, implementing, and leading the EHS agenda by supporting the location manufacturing teams with integration of safety and environmental programs, Workers' Compensation, prevention efforts, and regulatory compliance into everyday work life. The EHS Associate Rep has responsibility to analyze accident data and develop and implement actionable safety/environmental solutions. The candidate is expected to provide collaborative, proactive, and creative problem-solving abilities to develop best-in-class EHS programs for the improvement of the overall strategy and EHS management system. To ensure that the site complies with Environmental Health and Safety Legislation and operates within the internal Global Environmental, Health and Safety Management System To provide expert guidance on all safety and environment related matters and give information, advice and coaching on relevant legislation and internal EHS systems and reinforcement of site standards. Own multiple standards across the Health and Safety model. including Incident Investigation and Risk Assessment. Provide regular coaching to other standard Duty Holders. To be an active member of a site EHS committee team and be an active participant in the daily and weekly process. Assist the site Management Team and Standard Holders to meet the site targets of risk management and accident reduction and drive proactive safety culture through effective communications and continuous improvement. Partner operations leaders to conduct effective investigations and develop sustainable plans to prevent reoccurrence. Support change management projects to ensure safety is designed in and projects are safely executed.
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,600 - $123,150. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Bachelor's degree or High school diploma with 3-5 years of EHS work experience
Preferred Job Qualifications:
