Temporary Safety Professional Sacramento, CA Overview We are seeking an experienced Safety Professional for a Long-Term temporary assignment in Sacramento, CA. This role will support ongoing safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong safety culture within a fast-paced operational environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct daily safety inspections and job site audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee safety training sessions Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare detailed reports with recommendations Maintain accurate safety documentation and compliance records Partner with site leadership to reinforce safe work practices and policies Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols across all teams Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a safety role (construction, manufacturing, or industrial preferred) Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards Experience conducting incident investigations and safety audits Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and influence teams in a fast-paced environment OSHA 30 certification required (or equivalent) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field Certifications such as CHST, ASP, or CSP Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Pay:
