Job Description

Job Overview Join our team as a Part-Time Food Safety Specialist and become a vital part of ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance. In this energetic role, you will support our quality management systems by conducting thorough quality audits, inspections, and data collection to uphold our commitment to excellence. Your proactive approach will help maintain safe, high-quality products and foster continuous improvement across our warehouse processes. This position offers a dynamic environment where your attention to detail and analysis skills will directly impact consumer safety and satisfaction. Duties Perform regular quality audits and inspections throughout manufacturing facilities to verify adherence to food safety standards and regulatory requirements Support quality assurance initiatives by documenting findings, analyzing data trends, and recommending corrective actions Assist in maintaining and improving quality systems, including HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plans and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) protocols Collect, organize, and analyze data related to product quality, process performance, and compliance metrics Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and support implementation of corrective and preventive measures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of quality management practices across all operations Work with Sanitation team in completing daily tasks and completing sanitation tasks Skills Strong understanding of quality management principles, including QA/QC processes and systems Experience with conducting quality audits, inspections, and data collection in a warehouse environment Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for actionable insights Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards such as
HACCP, FSMA
(Food Safety Modernization Act), or similar frameworks Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Effective communication skills for reporting findings clearly and collaborating with team members Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a tangible impact on food safety while developing their expertise in quality assurance. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
Food safety: 1 year (Required) Computer skills: 2 years (Preferred)
