Experience:
- Minimum of High School diploma or G.E.D. with equivalent training and experience to sufficiently demonstrate the knowledge and perform the abilitieslisted in the job description;
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures to adequately complete necessary paperwork;
- 3+ years experience in school food service required, preferably in a lead role.
Certificates:
- A valid Food Safety or Food Protection Manager Certification accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) maintained throughout employment with the LEA. Examples of accredited food protection manager certifications include:
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager;
- State Food Safety Manager (FSM);
- Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP);
- Certified Professional - Food Safety (CP-FS);
- Food Protection Manager (FPM)
- To operate a vehicle in the performance of duties, operator must possess an appropriate valid California Driver's License and maintain possession of such license during the course of employment;
- Have an acceptable driving record;
- Must be insurable at standard rates by the District's insurance carrier and maintain such insurability during the course of employment.
