This role works directly with field crews and supervisors to promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company policies, PG&E requirements, and
OSHA/CAL-OSHA
regulations. Key Responsibilities Conduct jobsite safety observations and hazard assessments. Support field crews through coaching, hazard recognition, and safety guidance. Lead or participate in tailboard briefings, toolbox talks, and safety stand-downs. Identify high-energy hazards and potential serious injury or fatality exposures. Monitor compliance with company safety programs, PG&E requirements, and
OSHA/CAL-OSHA
standards. Investigate incidents and near-misses and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintain documentation of safety observations, incident reports, and corrective actions. Serve as a safety resource for field operations and assist with regulatory compliance. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience, preferably in civil or utility construction. Knowledge of OSHA and
CAL-OSHA
safety regulations. Experience with incident investigation and hazard mitigation. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with field crews and supervisors. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications Safety certifications such as CUSP, CHST, or equivalent. Experience working on PG&E or similar utility construction projects.
Compensation Salary Range:
$110,000 - $125,000 annually Benefits include company vehicle and fuel card, medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k), paid holidays and PTO, and professional development support.
Pay:
$105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
