Safety Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Representative to support and enforce company safety policies and procedures. This role is responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and helping maintain a safe work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor job sites to ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety standards Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments Lead and document safety meetings, including daily tailgate meetings Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare detailed reports Ensure employees are trained and compliant with required certifications (OQ, OSHA, etc.) Maintain safety records, documentation, and reporting systems Assist with development and implementation of safety programs and procedures Enforce proper use of PPE and safe work practices Coordinate with supervisors and management to correct safety concerns

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field preferred) 2+ years of safety experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial environments preferred Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in field environments Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management systems Certifications (Preferred): OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 First Aid/CPR/AED H2S Awareness Safeland or equivalent

Work Environment:

Combination of field and office work Exposure to outdoor conditions and active job sites Travel may be required

Pay:

$34.00 - $36.00 per hour
