This energetic position offers the opportunity to lead risk management initiatives, oversee regulatory adherence, and manage claims related to fleet activities. You will be at the forefront of maintaining a safe working environment while supporting the seamless movement of freight within a complex supply chain network. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us uphold the highest standards in fleet management and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards and industry best practices to promote a safe fleet environment. Manage all aspects of fleet safety compliance, including adherence to FDA regulations where applicable, and ensure transportation management practices meet regulatory requirements. Oversee claims processing related to fleet incidents, coordinating with insurance providers and internal teams to facilitate prompt resolution. Conduct thorough risk assessments for freight operations, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation strategies. Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, regulatory reporting, and fleet performance metrics to inform continuous improvement efforts. Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize freight handling procedures while maintaining compliance with transportation regulations. Lead training sessions on safety policies, OSHA standards, and regulatory updates for drivers and staff involved in fleet operations. Experience Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation safety roles with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and risk management principles. Familiarity with supply chain processes, freight handling, and transportation management systems. Knowledge of FDA regulations relevant to freight or supply chain operations is a plus. Experience in regulatory reporting, compliance management, report writing, and incident investigation is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports on safety performance and claims activity. Excellent communication skills for training staff and collaborating across departments to uphold safety standards.
