Peer Specialist - CRPS Required (Must Reside in Florida) Molina Healthcare Medicine and Health Jacksonville, FL - USA Senior Specialist / Project Manager Show compensation Apply now Save position Experteer Overview In this role you provide peer support to members facing behavioral health, psychiatric, chemical dependency, or related health challenges. You collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to help members progress toward recovery goals and contribute to delivering quality, cost-effective care. You may travel locally to meet member needs. You will advocate for members and translate information into actionable notes for care teams.

competitive benefits and compensation package Responsibilities Provide peer support for members with behavioral health, psychiatric, chemical dependency, and/or physical illness Advocate for members, offering information, resources, and peer support in outpatient and inpatient settings Assist members in setting recovery goals and coordinate steps with care managers or treatment teams Possible local travel to fulfill role requirements Key requirements CRPS, Certified Recovery Peer Specialist At least 1 year health care experience, preferably in a peer support role, or equivalent education/experience Valid and unrestricted driver's license, reliable transportation, adequate auto insurance for travel Knowledge of community resources Knowledge of recovery processes and ability to facilitate recovery using standardized behavioral health processes Ability to teach and engage in basic problem-solving for self-directed recovery Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask between phone and computer systems Excellent verbal and written communication skills Microsoft Office suite proficiency communication skills empathy problem-solving attention to detail Microsoft Office suite proficiency EMR system experience (preferred)
