Job Description

Health & Beauty Manufacturing (HBM) is a U.S.-based, FDA-registered and cGMP-compliant contract manufacturer specializing in dietary supplements and personal care products. The company partners with emerging and established brands to take products from concept to commercialization, offering full-service capabilities across research and development, formulation, manufacturing, and packaging. HBM is particularly known for its expertise in gummies, liquid supplements, and topical skincare products, combining innovation with scalable production and strict quality standards. Operating out of two facilities in Pinellas County, Florida—located just 13 minutes apart—HBM is structured for efficient production, coordination, and growth. With a focus on reliability, speed to market, and consistent product performance, HBM supports clients through private label, custom, and contract manufacturing solutions tailored to meet a wide range of product and scaling needs. Position Summary The Sanitation Lead is responsible for overseeing and executing sanitation activities to ensure all facilities, equipment, and production areas meet company standards, food safety requirements, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, organization, and basic computer proficiency. Minimum Job Requirements (mJD)Language & Communication Must be able to speak, read, and write English (basic) Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English strongly preferred) Ability to clearly communicate sanitation procedures, expectations, and corrective actions Core Responsibilities Lead daily sanitation operations and verify proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and facilities Maintain and update sanitation documentation, including: Chemical inventory/list Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) Sanitation logs and verification records Ensure proper use, storage, labeling, and control of sanitation chemicals Conduct pre-operational inspections and document results Identify sanitation deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are completed Train sanitation team members on sanitation procedures, chemical safety, GMPs, and food safety requirements Skills & Competencies Detail-oriented and highly organized Computer literate with ability to maintain electronic records Google Suite knowledge preferred (Docs, Sheets, Drive) Strong time management, accountability, and follow-through Experience & Education High school diploma or GED required Prior sanitation experience in food manufacturing or related industry preferred Knowledge of GMPs and food safety principles preferred Physical & Work Environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks Ability to work in wet, hot, or cold environments Must be able to wear required
PPE Pay:
$14.50 - $16.00 per hour
