This role is responsible for promoting a safe work environment, ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting site inspections, investigating incidents, and partnering with project teams and subcontractors to maintain safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies. Investigate incidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions. Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks. Review subcontractor safety plans, JHAs, and pre-mobilization documentation. Coordinate emergency response procedures and maintain safety equipment. Track safety metrics, maintain reports and logs, and support workers' compensation and claims processes. Partner with project leadership to identify risks and drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Safety, or related field preferred. 2-5+ years of construction safety experience. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices. Professional safety certifications (OSHA 500, CHST, CSP, or similar) are a plus.
