In this energetic role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and maintaining kitchen hoods, ducts, filters, and related components to prevent fire hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Perform detailed cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, filters, and fans using specialized tools and cleaning agents. Inspect ventilation systems for grease buildup, blockages, or damage, reporting any issues promptly. Remove grease and debris safely from all components to meet industry safety regulations. Follow established safety procedures and use personal protective equipment effectively during all cleaning tasks. Document completed work accurately, including cleaning reports and inspection logs. Coordinate with clients to schedule cleaning appointments and ensure minimal disruption to their operations. Maintain equipment in excellent condition through regular inspections and proper storage. Skills Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and safety. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict safety standards. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual cleaning tasks in various environments. Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members. Basic knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and safety protocols. Willingness to learn industry-specific regulations related to fire prevention and ventilation systems. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or industrial maintenance is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
