Job Description

Do you want a job that's more than just earning a paycheck? Do you want to help others? Join us at MANA! We're not just a company. We're a group of people who want to make a difference. Our mission is simple—We feed kids! We make a special peanut butter to help kids fight severe acute malnutrition. We need your help to do this. Join us as a sanitation worker! As a sanitation worker, you'll help keep our factory clean. We'll give you a checklist of things to clean every day. You'll work with a team to clean the factory and the machines we use to make our life-saving products. You'll use tools like brooms, mops and wringers, brushes, spray bottles, squeegees, air guns, and vacuums. We'll teach you about our sanitation policies, forms, and procedures. You'll also learn how to use cleaning chemicals safely and what to do in emergencies like drain backups or finding blood-borne pathogens. As you move around the facility, you'll serve as a crucial shield against potential safety hazards. Your job is significant because it helps us make safer products, which means we can help more kids! Safety is important to us. We'll give you safety gear to wear while you work. We want you to feel safe and secure! This job requires basic reading, writing, and math skills. You should be able to stand for a long time and be okay with bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, squatting, pushing, pulling, walking, and lifting things that weigh 30-50 pounds. Most importantly, you must share our commitment to integrity and attention to detail so that we always meet food safety, legal, and quality requirements. We want to make only the best products for kids who need them! Your regular shift hours will usually be 8-12 hours long. But sometimes, you might need to work longer or on nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs. At MANA, you'll be part of a team that cares about making a difference. So, if you want to help feed kids and make a difference, join us, and become a member of the MANA Village!
