• What you'll do
• + Conduct safety audits and observe field activities + Coach teams on proper safety techniques and procedures + Lead toolbox talks and site-specific training + Support root cause investigations of incidents + Ensure crews are in compliance with PPE and job-specific hazards + Document observations and report non-compliance + Monitor usage of equipment and safety tools + Coordinate with supervisors to improve safety performance + Provide input on policy updates based on observations + Travel between sites to maintain regional safety presence •What you'll need•+ To be 18 years of age or older + Authorization to work in the United States for this company + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience + 3-5 years of experience in field safety or utility safety oversight + Knowledge of federal and state safety regulations + Valid driver's license; must travel to various job sites •Additional qualifications (if applicable)•+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at individual level and in group + Ability to maintain records in well-organized manner + Must maintain a satisfactory driving record while in the position, as consistent safe driving behavior is essential when training or setting an example for others •Physical abilities & exposures•+ •

Routinely:

• Climb stairs, complete and maintain training, use keyboard/mouse, lift 10-25 pounds, stand, walk, work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles +

• Occasionally:

• Lift 26-55 pounds, bend/stoop, perform repetitive hand movements, use portable ladders, work at heights, work in confined spaces, work with arms above shoulder level, operate heavy machinery
