This is a key role in our plant. The person in this position will serve as our primary cleaning specialist , responsible for stain removal, specialty garments, and quality control before garments move into the finishing process. We are looking for someone with hands-on dry cleaning experience who understands fabrics, stains, and proper garment care. This role sits at the top of the cleaning process in our plant and will be the go-to expert for handling delicate and specialty items. Responsibilities Perform spot cleaning and stain removal on garments and specialty items Determine proper cleaning methods based on fabric type, care labels, and stain composition Handle delicate or specialty garments such as sweaters, comforters, and specialty fabrics Perform quality control inspections prior to the finishing process Identify garments requiring special handling or alternative cleaning methods Help maintain high standards of garment care and cleaning quality Assist with guiding team members on proper cleaning procedures when needed Ensure cleaning chemicals and spotting agents are used correctly and safely Knowledge We'd Like Someone to Have Experience or familiarity with: Stain chemistry and spotting techniques Fabric reactions to different cleaning methods Knowing when to wet clean vs. dry clean Recognizing when an item should not be cleaned or requires special handling Understanding sweater shrink risk and delicate fabric care Proper handling and cleaning of comforters and specialty household items Reading and interpreting garment care labels and chemical instructions Qualifications Previous experience in a dry cleaning plant strongly preferred Experience with spotting, stain removal, and garment cleaning processes Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to make informed decisions on how garments should be cleaned Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Management or leadership experience is a bonus, with opportunity for growth

Position Details Schedule:

Monday-Friday with occasional weekends as needed (not frequent) Flexible hours depending on production needs
