Job Description
Job Summary:
Lead the implementation of policies and procedures in environmental, health and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures by carrying out and analyzing regular audits of the manufacturing facilities. Provide information and training in a variety of EHS areas relating to the business. Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and monitor the environmental, health and safety policies and procedures of the facility.
- Monitor, measure, and report on environmental health and safety performance. Review safety statistics, conduct trend analysis and make recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Conduct environmental, health and safety audits; both compliance and program based. Prepare comprehensive written reports with clear findings and recommendations.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and implement appropriate control measures to mitigate risk. Ensure controls/solutions are effective in reducing the risk of occupational hazards.
- Participate in routine and complex investigations related to workplace safety incidents.
- Serve as a resource and provide guidance and assistance for the plant regarding environmental, health and safety.
- Provide health and safety training to all managers/supervisors, employees, on topics including health and safety orientation, duties and responsibilities, health safety and the law, hazardous energy control, electrical safety, incident investigations, hazard identification, workplace inspection and promotion of safety awareness.
- Review Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System and update and implement procedures and practices, and ensure training is conducted in a timely manner.
- Conduct ergonomic assessment reviews, workplace inspections and facility audits and provide a corrective/preventative action plan complete with responsibilities and timelines.
- Develop and guide site-specific industrial hygiene programs, activities, and initiatives by evaluating potential chemical, physical and biological hazards present in the workplace.

Pay:
$75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per yearBenefits:
