Job Description
Subsidiary Superior Aluminum Alloys Overview Superior Aluminum Alloys is seeking a High School Health & Safety Intern for the 2026-2027 school year. This position works directly with our Safety Coordinator and Nurse to gain valuable experience in a foundry setting assisting with administrative tasks and learning about the Health & Safety Departments in our company. Responsibilities Assist safety coordinator with planning, documentation, training development, communication and various safety office clerical tasks Assist nurse with documentation, employee tracking and various nursing office clerical tasks Part time, 10-20 hours per week M-F for 2026-2027 school year (either or both semesters) Qualifications Candidate must be a high school senior enrolled in an internship program through their high school Strong organizational skills Superior verbal and written communication High self-motivation and ability to work with a team or independently Familiar with Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) and video / photo editing Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
