What You'll Do As a Safety Technician, you will support local operations and partner closely with leadership to promote and maintain a strong safety culture. This role requires someone who demonstrates ownership, proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, and serves as a trusted resource for employees and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Conduct regular onsite safety inspections, audits, and observations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Promote our Safety-First culture by identifying hazards, reporting incidents, and helping prevent workplace injuries and environmental risks. Work alongside the Operations Management Team to resolve safety concerns and improve overall site performance. Foster strong communication with employees to reinforce Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) objectives, policies, and procedures. Maintain professional relationships with employees, customers, regulatory agencies, and the public. Demonstrate Ownership is Expected by taking initiative, holding yourself accountable, and helping drive safety performance. Support a culture that is Driven to Improve by identifying opportunities for continuous safety and operational enhancements. Produce high-quality work that aligns with company policies, customer expectations, and industry standards. Travel throughout the region up to 90% of the time. Work nights, weekends, and holidays when operational demands require. Carry a company cell phone and remain available during work and non-working hours as needed. What We're Looking For Qualifications & Experience High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Ability to work extended or on-call hours as needed. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office technology. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications Preference may be given to candidates who: Bilingual (English/Spanish)OSHA-30, OSHA-511, OSHA
510 or authorized OSHA instructor and or MSHA Blue Card Holder Ability to travel through the region with occasional travel to other job sites around the county as needed Why Redi Services?
