As part of our continued growth, Fresca Foods is launching a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility featuring high-speed production lines and advanced automation. With production slated to begin in August, we are actively building our team now—bringing in key talent early to support equipment installation, process development, and operational readiness. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a foundational team, helping shape the systems, culture, and long-term success of a new facility from the ground up. This is a permanent role, designed to grow with the facility and play a critical part in its ongoing success. Position Overview This role is responsible for executing and verifying sanitation programs within a modern food manufacturing facility, with a strong focus on CIP system operation, sanitation verification, and operator training. The position ensures sanitation effectiveness through process control, inspection, and coaching, while maintaining hygienic infrastructure and supporting plant-wide sanitation systems. Schedule 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; Monday-Friday to start, yet likely weekends as we ramp-up.

Possibly night shift training & training abroad (Mexico) Essential Functions CIP System Operation & Verification Operate Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems for process equipment Verify CIP parameters (time, temperature, chemical concentration, flow) Perform pre-op and post-CIP inspections to confirm cleaning effectiveness Document CIP cycles and escalate deviations Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of CIP processes Chemical Management & Control Prepare and verify chemical concentrations (detergents, sanitizers, foaming agents) Perform titrations or other verification methods to ensure correct concentrations Maintain chemical inventory, ordering when needed and ensure proper storage and labeling Ensure compliance with SDS, GMPs, and safety procedures Sanitation Verification & Inspection Inspect operator-performed cleaning against SSOP standards Conduct pre-operational inspections and environmental checks Identify deficiencies and initiate corrective actions Support environmental monitoring programs as needed Training & Coaching Train production operators on SSOPs and sanitation best practices Provide real-time coaching on cleaning effectiveness and technique Reinforce GMPs, hygienic practices, and food safety expectations Support onboarding of new employees in sanitation procedures Hygiene Systems Maintenance Maintain handwashing stations (soap, towels, functionality) Maintain footwear sanitation systems (foamers, scrubbers) Maintain floor foamers and sanitation equipment Ensure all hygiene stations are stocked, functional, and compliant Cleaning & Sanitation Execution Clean and sanitize smallwares, utensils, and surfaces Operate floor scrubbers and sanitation equipment Perform targeted cleaning of equipment, floors, and drains Facility Support / Custodial Empty trash and manage waste streams Refill consumables (soap, towels, sanitation supplies) Maintain general cleanliness of production and support areas Food Safety & Compliance Adhere to SQF, GMP, and company food safety policies Act immediately if food safety is compromised Maintain hygienic environment in a low-moisture facility Support audit readiness and compliance activities Experience, Education, Skills & Knowledge 1+ year experience training or coaching employees 1+ year experience in sanitation or food manufacturing 1+ year experience working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, basic Excel) High school diploma or equivalent required Experience with chemicals, CIP systems, or sanitation verification a plus Working knowledge of sanitation chemistry and concentration control Understanding of CIP systems and process verification preferred Strong observational and inspection skills Ability to train and influence operator behavior Knowledge of GMPs and food safety principles Basic mechanical aptitude Work Environment Able to work 8 hours shifts in a wet environment Able to stand for extended periods of time (8 hours per day) Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and capable of lifting 20 lbs. on a repeated basis throughout the day Able to work with chemicals, including bleach Good manual dexterity and capable of performing repeated actions with hands/fingers up to 8 hours per day Able to work in both hot/warm conditions for majority of the shift Comfortable with a moderate noise level Allergen environment (peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, soy) Benefits Health insurance, dental discount plan, vision insurance, pet insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, paid holidays At Fresca, we don't just accept difference — we celebrate it, we support it, and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our products and our community. The amount offered will take into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment.
