Cleaning Technician

Overview Commercial Cleaning with Commonwealth is a locally owned and operated commercial cleaning company in Lexington, Ky. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team in Winchester, Ky. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a variety of commercial environments, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness. This role requires a strong work ethic, high levels of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Reliable transportation is required. Position will consist of approximately 12 hours weekly (6 hours on Mondays, 6 hours on Thursdays). Duties Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces. Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment. Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company and/or policies. Restock supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues to management. Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly to ensure personal safety and the safety of others. Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions. Uphold and embody company values when acting as a representative of Commercial Cleaning with Commonwealth. Skills Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Familiarity with cleaning products and techniques is preferred but not required ; training will be provided. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, squatting, or standing for extended periods.
