Safety Consultant SafetyPro Resources | Greater Baton Rouge, LA | Full-Time, Permanent About the Role SafetyPro Resources is seeking an experienced Safety Consultant to join our team in the greater Baton Rouge, LA area. This is a permanent, full-time hybrid position with flexibility for remote work. As a Safety Consultant, you'll partner directly with clients to build, manage, and strengthen their occupational health and safety programs across a range of industries. What You'll Do Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients on day-to-day safety matters Conduct safety audits and on-site inspections Develop and deliver occupational health and safety training Write and refine safety policies and procedures Manage online qualification programs (ISNetworld, Avetta, and similar platforms) Oversee customer projects from start to finish Investigate incidents and support claims management Guide clients through regulatory compliance inspections (OSHA, MSHA, DOT, EPA, and others) What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field (preferred) Relevant certifications such as CHST, CSST, or COSS (recommended); GSP, ASP, or CSP (preferred) Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or general industry Experience in commercial building construction — general and/or trade contracting (preferred) Working knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910 regulations Proven experience developing and presenting safety training Experience with ISNetworld, Avetta, and other qualification programs (preferred) Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) What We Offer Medical insurance (employer-paid contribution) Dental and vision insurance (100% employer-paid) Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time Company-provided computer, iPhone, and iPad Vehicle allowance and company fuel card Competitive salary (commensurate with experience)

$60,767.46 - $73,182.32 per year
