What You'll Be Doing Job Summary:
Generally responsible for performing all aspects of safety for moderately complex engineering assignments and assisting in managing the H&S program for the company. This work will be performed under general supervision. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Developing and building relationships with clients in order to develop HSE consulting opportunities Providing and/or assisting with industrial hygiene and safety consulting activities.Maintaining online databases including:
Isnetwrold.com- PEC Premier
- Pics
- Browz Coordinating all client prequalification packages and safety performance evaluations as requested by clients.
- Monthly calibration
- Monitor and replace calibration gas cylinders
- Replacement of deceased monitors Assisting the Corporate Safety Leader with site visit scheduling for relationship building for site based teammates and with client HSE personnel.
Ideal Background Education:
Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Public Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related field from an accredited university is required.Certification:
No certification is required for this position.Experience:
This position requires 5+ years of relevant industrial safety, risk management and/or industrial hygiene experience.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations. Working knowledge of Industrial Hygiene and Safety principles and practices. Extreme attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects efficiently and effectively. Ability to perform work on an HSE project as directed, conduct required activities, maintain required documentation, and construct a meaningful report of activities. Ability to participate on a small team to deliver on commitments. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.Physical Abilities Required:
