Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant summer team as a Recreation Support Staff member, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create memorable experiences for our kids and staff! In this energetic role, you will assist with organizing and supervising lunch each day, ensuring safe transportation of children to and from various locations on campus, and cleaning and maintaining buildings being used by the summer rec program. This person will be responsible for making sure the campus is closed and secured at the end of the day. This shift is 11am-4pm, Monday - Friday. Duties Day to day maintenance and overall care for Summer Rec facilities. Implementation of daily opening and closing duties. Maintain a high level of safety and structure within the program. Complete incident/accident reports in the First Aid Log and immediately report such occurrences to Summer Rec Director. Assist in the transportation of children to various locations on campus. Report physical facility hazards in a timely manner to Summer Rec Director. Help coordinate the drop off and pick up of all children each day. Assist with the distribution of lunches and snacks each day.
MAJOR DUTIES
Closing the campus, as well as assisting the Summer Rec staff in any other capacity. Must be comfortable driving a golf cart and helping coordinate drop off & pick up, as well as lunches for the kids. Have a general knowledge of children's programs and safety protocols. Moderate physical effort required for work performed in the field. Required to spend several hours standing, walking, reaching arms and lifting under 50lbs. Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
