Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking skilled Fire Sprinkler Inspectors and Service Techs to join the Castle Team! These roles are crucial in ensuring the safety and compliance of fire protection systems within various facilities and client sites throughout Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia and Southern PA areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be familiar with industry codes and practices. These positions involve the service, inspection or installation of wet and dry sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and their related components requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Duties Within our Service & Inspections dept - Inspect, Test and maintain fire sprinkler systems in accordance with national & local codes and standards. Conduct routine inspections and testing of sprinkler systems to ensure functionality. Work closely with other inspectors, service techs, installation personnel and office team. Collaborate with other trades such as elevator technicians, HVAC, etc to ensure integrated system performance. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to conduct NFPA 25 inspections effectively. For service, knowledge of NFPA 13 and 13R, 14, and 20. Proficiency in sprinkler system operational techniques. Knowledge of sprinkler piping and components relevant to fire sprinkler systems. Understanding of applicable codes and standards governing fire protection systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and compliance.
