Job Description

Job Details We are looking for an experienced Mining Safety & Compliance Advisor to support safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance across our mining operations. In this role, you will partner with site leadership to ensure compliance with MSHA, EPA, and ODNR regulations , coordinate inspections and audits, maintain compliance documentation, and help drive a strong culture of safety. This is a great opportunity for a safety professional with aggregate mining experience who is passionate about regulatory compliance, employee training, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Advise site leadership on
MSHA, EPA, ODNR
, and company safety compliance requirements Coordinate MSHA inspections , audits, and corrective action follow-up Conduct safety audits , inspections, and hazard assessments Serve as an MSHA Trainer and maintain training records Manage safety and environmental documentation, reports, and compliance records Support incident investigations and corrective action plans Monitor regulatory changes and recommend compliance improvements Promote a proactive safety culture across operations Why Join Us Join a team where safety and compliance are top priorities. Requirements Qualifications 3+ years of experience in aggregate mining safety and compliance Strong knowledge of MSHA regulations, inspections, and training Experience with EPA and ODNR compliance Proven background in safety audits and document management MSHA Trainer experience preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Education Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Certifications/Licensure MSHA Part 46 certification Certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, ASP) is a plus.
