In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that protect employees, promote occupational health, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in safety standards, foster a culture of safety awareness, and support the well-being of all team members. Duties Develop and execute EHS policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and DoT. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions promptly. Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence. Facilitate training sessions on topics such as first aid, CPR, OSHA compliance, occupational health practices, and emergency response procedures to empower employees with essential safety skills. Maintain accurate report writing for safety incidents, inspection findings, compliance documentation, and audit results. Promote a culture of safety awareness through ongoing training & development programs and safety communication campaigns. Experience Proven experience working within manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and DoT regulations. Demonstrated knowledge of occupational health principles and best practices for maintaining a safe workplace. Prior experience conducting root cause analysis investigations related to safety incidents or environmental issues. Familiarity with report writing for safety audits, incident reports, and compliance documentation. Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, OSHA 10/30-Hour Training or equivalent are highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver effective training & development sessions tailored to diverse teams.
