Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a 2nd Shift Sanitation Associate and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment. This energetic position is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and are passionate about ensuring food production areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. As a key contributor to our sanitation team, you will help uphold our commitment to quality and compliance while working during the lively evening hours. Duties Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, workstations, and facility surfaces using industrial cleaning tools and chemicals Maintain cleanliness in food processing areas, adhering to strict sanitation protocols and safety guidelines Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and disinfecting to ensure a hygienic workspace Assist with heavy lifting and moving of cleaning supplies or equipment as needed to support efficient sanitation processes Follow detailed cleaning schedules and document completed tasks accurately for compliance audits Collaborate with production teams to coordinate cleaning activities without disrupting operations Ensure all sanitation procedures meet regulatory standards for food safety and manufacturing excellence Qualifications Prior experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within manufacturing or food processing environments is highly preferred Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and safety protocols in a food production setting Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for thorough cleaning routines Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to follow detailed sanitation procedures Experience working in warehouse or manufacturing environments is a plus Ability to work efficiently during evening hours on the 2nd shift schedule while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team Join us in creating a safe, clean, and productive environment where quality is at the forefront!
