(MSA) is an environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety consulting firm supporting federal, state, municipal, and commercial clients nationwide. We are expanding our on-call professional network to support upcoming environmental health and safety (EHS) projects across multiple locations. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Industrial Hygienists seeking flexible, project-based assignments supporting workplace exposure assessments, compliance evaluations, and construction safety support activities.
Position Overview:
We are seeking qualified Industrial Hygienists (IH) to join our on-call talent pool for upcoming environmental health and safety projects. This is an on-call / project-based opportunity and does not represent an immediate full-time opening. Selected candidates will be added to our professional network and contacted as assignments become available based on project needs. Assignments may support federal, state, municipal, or commercial environmental health and safety projects depending on contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include: Conduct industrial hygiene assessments (air, noise, chemical exposure, and indoor environmental quality) Perform workplace inspections to identify occupational health hazards Collect personal and area exposure samples using recognized IH methods Support construction safety and exposure monitoring activities when required Analyze monitoring results and recommend hazard control measures Prepare technical reports and documentation Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and applicable regulatory requirements Provide guidance on PPE selection and exposure control strategies Support compliance documentation for environmental and safety programs
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Health, or related field Relevant experience in industrial hygiene or occupational exposure monitoring Working knowledge of OSHA standards and occupational exposure limits Experience using industrial hygiene sampling equipment Ability to work independently in field environments Preferred Qualifications CIH certification or working toward certification preferred Experience supporting federal or construction safety / industrial hygiene projects Experience conducting exposure monitoring programs and compliance evaluations Experience supporting multi-site or project-based environmental health and safety work
Work Conditions:
Project-based field assignments (various locations) Travel may be required depending on assignment location and project scope Use of PPE and adherence to site safety protocols always required
Compensation:
