Work Schedule:
9/80 - 7AM to 4:30PM, 7AM to 3:30PM Fridays Responsibilities Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring company environment, health and safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental health and safety regulations. Work to reduce company risk and liability in all aspects of EHS. Assists in a variety of duties to include, sampling, observations, training and inspections. Works with stakeholders in the organization during space planning, building expansions and/or other changes in facilities or work areas to ensure EHS requirements and regulations are met. Assists with root cause analysis when EHS incidents occur and recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exist. Responsible for monitoring and driving sustainability initiatives. The EHS Senior Specialist will be responsible for partnering with site-level operations and engineering teams, and other key stakeholders to execute company EHS policies and ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. This includes demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements in a manufacturing or industrial environment. A key responsibility of this role is to drive employee engagement and strengthen site safety culture by promoting active participation in EHS programs, enhancing hazard recognition capabilities across the workforce, and increasing the effectiveness and utilization of tools such as concern reporting systems. This individual will work to ensure that safety is owned at all levels of the organization by influencing behaviors, coaching leaders, and embedding EHS expectations into daily operations Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Field related to EHS & S, Substantive and relative work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. 5+ years of environment, health, and safety experience including personnel management and experience leading EHS initiatives In this role, the candidate will use their experience to implement and lead strong environmental, health and safety aspects as they relate to manufacture and testing of aerospace electronics. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong teamwork, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analysis skills Exhibit sound judgment and professionalism in all situations Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively Experience working with regulatory and governmental agencies (e.g., OSHA, EPA, and state/local authorities), including supporting inspections, audits, incident investigations, and regulatory reporting.
