Job Description

HSE Representative The HSE Representative will be primarily responsible for mentoring and advising the company's health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements, and the enforcement of HSE practices and procedures throughout the Delaware Basin. In addition, this position will work closely with Operations Management on the overall management of the district safety performance to achieve a healthy and safe work environment. Success in this role will have demonstrated HSE oil field worksite experience and core competency knowledge in occupational health and safety and OSHA requirements, along with experience in safety reporting programs.
Some Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Facilitate Training of Personnel:
New Hire Orientation H2S Safety CPR/First Aid Field Training for Company Safety Programs Smith Driving Instruction
OSHA-10 LOTO
Blow Out Prevention (preferred but not required) Inspect and evaluate worksite environments, equipment, and practices to ensure that each location inspected is following appropriate safety standards and government regulations. Investigate incidents and accidents while advising corrective action. Working knowledge of ISNetworld. Willingness to travel as well as on call assignments are a must. Working knowledge of upstream oil and gas processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Candidates should possess a 4-year degree in Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety or other science field. Certified Safety Professional or equivalent certification required in lieu of a 4-year degree.
