The Queens Community House (QCH) is a multi-service nonprofit organization that empowers individuals and families to enrich their lives and build healthy, inclusive communities. Through more than 50 programs across the borough, we serve people of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE
ONE MEAL AT A TIME
Our Home Delivered Meals (HDML) Program provides fresh and frozen meals to homebound seniors aged 60+, helping them stay nourished and independent. As an HDML Specialist, you'll do more than deliver meals—you'll be a daily connection and support for some of our most vulnerable neighbors.
YOUR ROLE INCLUDES
✔️ Packaging and safely handling meals ✔️ Daily meal delivery and route management ✔️ Light wellness check-ins with clients ✔️ Vehicle inspections and recordkeeping ✔️ Reporting client concerns or safety issues ✔️ Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
✅ Valid NYS Driver's License with a clean driving record ✅ 3+ years of NYC driving experience ✅ Knowledge of Queens roads and NYS traffic laws ✅ Friendly, dependable, and professional demeanor ✅ Strong communication skills; bilingual (Spanish) a plus ✅ Physically able to lift 10-20 lbs.
