- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify unsafe equipment, processes, conditions, or behaviors.
- Investigate safety, health, and environmental risks and report findings with recommended corrective actions.
- Submit inspection reports to management within the required timeline.
- Conduct safety promotion activities such as training, toolbox talks, briefings, and safety campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations and company safety policies.
- Advise on safety specifications for workplace modifications, repairs, or extensions, and installation of new machinery, plant, or equipment.
- Review and assess risk assessments and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
- Conduct safety induction training for contractors and visitors before work begins.
- Act as Confined Space Safety Assessor when required.
- Ensure proper safety documentation and records are maintained as required by law.
