Pay Rate:
$29-33/hr What's a typical day as an EHS Specialist? You'll be: Ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and company policies related to safety Conducting safety meetings, work site and equipment inspections, and accident investigations Assessing employee injuries and providing follow-up, case management, and reporting Supporting DOT policy implementation and control, and coordinating employee training programs Authoring and revising safety-related SOPs and training documentation Acting as a liaison with community emergency response agencies Managing hazardous waste generation and removal programs for the facility Overseeing safety on project sites and conducting routine safety audits Ensuring OSHA, state, and company compliance and preparing for regulatory and third-party audits This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have prior experience in environmental health and safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required) Possess knowledge of OSHA regulations, DOT compliance, hazardous waste management, and safety program implementation (must-have) Have strong investigative, analytical, and reporting skills to address incidents and compliance issues Demonstrate excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills Are detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities Hold relevant certifications or education in EHS or related fields (preferred) Are available for the specified shift and have schedule flexibility What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
