With a strong presence in the industry, Goyette Mechanical has been serving commercial, industrial, and residential clients for 98 years! Based out of Flint, Michigan, Goyette Mechanical also has a presence in the Greater Columbus, Ohio area and beyond. The Site Safety Technician Position The Site Safety Technician ensures compliance with Construction safety policies and procedures from the project owner, general contractor, and/or Goyette Mechanical. The Site Safety Technician leads project safety pre-planning, partnering with Construction personnel; subcontractor pre-qualification, and pre-construction meetings as needed. This role also directly supports day-to-day Construction activities, directly monitors high priority work, and conducts training of personnel to ensure safety standards including individual training and tool box talks. The Site Safety Technician maintains accurate safety records, conducts incident investigations to determine root causes and corrective actions, and ensures timely reporting and tracking of worksite injuries. Additionally, the Site Safety Technician performs safety inspections, fall protection checks, equipment evaluations, task pre-planning such as crane lifts, and job hazard assessments.

Greater Columbus Sidney, Ohio Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Site Safety Technician Demonstrable safety experience with a construction, construction service company, or mechanical contracting/MEP is preferred At least an
OSHA 510
certificate is required Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, are required; ProCore, Hammertech is preferred. Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication coupled with conflict mitigation skills. High attention to detail and accuracy required Ability to foster a positive and productive safety culture Compensation and Benefits for the Site Safety Technician Goyette Mechanical provides a competitive hourly compensation packagewith bonus potential.
