Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and work practices to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions Monitors compliance with OSHA and applicable safety regulations and ensures employees understand and follow safety requirements Investigates incidents, near misses, and recordable events to identify root causes and recommends corrective and preventive actions Partners with Learning and Development to support safety training, onboarding, and ongoing employee education Reviews safety data, KPIs, and trends including DART and recordables to support risk mitigation efforts Documents incidents, inspections, and corrective actions and maintains accurate safety records Supports development and maintenance of safety policies, procedures, and standard operating practicesRequired Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or a Combination of education, training, and experience. 2 to 4 years of experience in a safety or compliance-related roleAdditional Requirements:
Ability to write, implement, and follow standard operating procedures Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, preferably within construction or home improvement environments Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite. Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:
OSHA 510
certification or ability to obtain within the first 90 days Experience supporting safety programs in construction, field operations, or manufacturing environments Familiarity with safety KPIs, risk mitigation strategies, and liability reduction Experience analyzing safety data and translating findings into actionable recommendationsTravel Requirements:
Occasional overnight travel is required (1-10%).Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:
