Safety Trainer

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree with a major in Occupational/Industrial Safety or Certified Safety Training and/or experience in safety skills application in an industrial, construction and/or military setting required. Knowledge of current state and federal regulations related to workplace safety is required. Demonstrated training and presentation skills required. Bachelor's degree with a major in Occupational/Industrial Safety or related field. A combination of education, professional certification, and three years of current work experience can be considered in lieu of education. Certified to teach CPR and/or Basic First Aid preferred. Excellent communication skills including strong writing, speaking, and listening skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office computer programs, specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must be a self-motivated individual able to work with minimal supervision, be dependable, and willing to accept flexible work hours and travel overnight as needed.

WORK HOURS

General work schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, unless the assignment requires training at a different time schedule and day, or night, and/or additional time is needed for completion.

SALARY:

Commensurate with experience.

$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
