Job Description
Responsible in developing, implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of company safety policies, procedures and processes, in conjunction with customer's natural gas completion, compressor sites, and construction sites. Essential Functions | Major Responsibilities Working knowledge of governmental EH&S standards, rules, and regulations and proficiency in applying them to projects or facilities. Responsible for the administration of OSHA, EPA, DOT, MSHA, NIOSH and ANSI regulations and applicable national consensus standards, including regulatory interpretation, and implementation of regulations and standards. Knowledge of compliance with applicable policies, procedures and regulations. Knowledgeable of company strategic objectives and goals. Knowledge of Industry Best Practices. Responsible for auditing job locations to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, determines corrective or preventative measures where indicated, and preform follow ups to ensure measures have been implemented. - Shared (10% of the time) Identify key injuries and/or safety trends and design and drive new safety programs that improve locations. Develop reports for job location audits and convey that information to upper management and customers. - Shared (10% of the time) Actively monitor and interact with employees to promote safe behaviors, culture, and mindset. Develop and implement employee safety and health training and education for management, supervisors and workers. (Develop lesson plans, conduct training, and coordinate training schedules) Facilitates and preforms incident investigations, root cause analysis, identification and create corrective actions and follow up to ensure effectiveness and completeness. Investigate and evaluate safety risks to develop risk elimination/reduction efforts and strategies. Monitors and measures effectiveness of all safety programs, striving for continuous improvement. Writes Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) for job locations. Coordinate, distribute and track all customer trainings. Oversee Hartman's Sumer and Winter Wear Program. Oversee the Driver Protection & Telematics Program. Attend and participate in customer weekly progress meetings. Create and manage SharePoint Project Safety folders and subfolders for all new projects.
- Coordinate, assign, distribute, track and update all internal Hartman training programs.
- Mange and maintain, Hartman's Instant Card account and platform.
- Manage the Respiratory Protection Program, including fit testing coordination, documentation, and employee training.
- Manage the HSE Department's training spreadsheet for all Hartman employees and third-party subcontractors.
- Maintain, inspect, and document company owned AEDs.

- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Science, or related field (Required).
- 1-5 years of experience in construction, natural gas, or related industry.
- Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, local, and industry regulations.
Pay:
$34.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:
