About the Role As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a vital role in fostering a culture of safety and regulatory compliance within our manufacturing operations. You will partner with leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety metrics, mitigate workplace hazards, and ensure all personnel adhere to environmental and safety standards. Responsibilities Facilitate comprehensive safety training programs and maintain accurate documentation to ensure organizational compliance. Execute regular workplace audits and risk assessments to proactively identify and eliminate potential safety hazards. Manage the lifecycle of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring proper handling, documentation, and disposal protocols are met. Oversee the inventory and procurement of essential personal protective equipment (PPE) to support employee safety. Conduct thorough incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences and improve safety outcomes. Perform routine inspections of emergency response and compliance-critical equipment to maintain operational readiness. Analyze safety data and incident reports to identify trends, providing actionable insights for weekly performance reporting.
